“If you follow the science and seek excellent labs, it can lead to extremely interesting projects, innovative techniques, and a richer career,” says Rod O'Connor, a Canadian biophysicist who has worked in four countries before recently relocating to Limoges, France. O'Connor has set up a new bioelectrophotonics laboratory at XLIM — a research institute jointly run by the University of Limoges and the CNRS.
